Welcome to Café bastille!
Café Bastille is located in the heart of Downtown Miami known as the only authentic French cafe in the area. As soon as you walk into Café Bastille, you feel the coziness from the rustic chic decor to the brick walls surrounding you. The hanging light fixtures streamed across the ceiling instantly make you feel as if you are sitting on a corner street in Paris, surrounded by warm lights and French wine, sipping away the stress of your day. The back wall of the restaurant is covered entirely by a glass armoire, displaying hundreds of fine aged wines. The unpolished wood tables and chairs compliment the brick walls, giving the café an intimate, French cottage feel. Chef Eloise Garcia, prides herself in only cooking the freshest ingredients, taking the approach she learned back and Spain from world renowned chefs, she goes to the market daily and only prepares items she purchases that day. Cafe Bastille, provides all things excellence to locals and tourists alike.
Café Bastille is a family ran business, giving that extra special quality of care and dedication to their food. Their produce is brought in on a weekly basis from Naples to market and hand picked by Chef Irides Garcia. She spends time each week carefully selecting the freshest produce, making sure everything is locally grown. Café Bastille is known for their amazing seafood and they are one of the only restaurants in Miami that takes the time to go to market every morning at 6 am to hand pick their fish. Chef Irides Garcia selects different meats daily, giving the café a variety of specials each week. The amount of energy and effort that goes into this kitchen is unlike any other and guest will experience it one taste at a time.
